EDELAND   RIDGE   TRILLS   AND   CHILLS GOLF   AND   OUTDOORS

The stylish estate of Edeland Ridge is placed in a region that provides an excellent environment for the lovers of sports or outdoor A I activities and offers countless opportunities to match every taste. The outstanding Pirin Golf Holidays Club course is located in the heart of the Razlog valley underneath the snow covered ridges of Pirin, with spectacular panorama of Rila and Rhodope Mountains. II is designed by Ian Woosnam, winner of over 44 prestigious tournaments in his memorable career and recognized talent of designing new golf courses across the globe.

The 18-liole course is built on a 300 acre site with rolling greenery and water games of chance that will challenge the player's mastery. In lan's own words: "I am extremely excited about this opportunity. Golf is in its early stages of development in Bulgaria and I am very keen to be involved in helping develop the sport in the country. We will create world-class facilities that will not only support the growth of golf in Bulgaria but act as a focus for tourism development. The Bansko site is in a popular area for skiing. The backdrop to the land is breath-taking, with mature pine trees and streams, and I envisage a rugged mountain look to the course."
The aim of the creators of this state-of-art facility has been to provide maximum pleasure from the golfing experience in this distinctive location. The most up-to-date technology ensures the perfect match between sporting excellence and high level of environmental protection.

Ski and Snowboarding devotees will find the perfect climate with average winter temperature +8 to -2°C.That provides for a ski-season lasting from December to April. Recently installed modern facilities include 26 km of ski lifts. The ski runs with total length of more than 50 km are suitable both for beginners and advanced skiers. The boarders will enjoy the first snowboarding park on the Balkans.

Rambling and Hiking - the hikers will be tempted with appealing trails to areas of fascinating natural beauty and historic interest in the generous sun and translucent air all the year round.

Mountaineering - the Pirin peaks, ridges, and valleys offer more than 100 km of marked alpine routes. The caves around Bansko hide
wondrous underground rivers, stalactites and stalagmites.

Mountain biking - the surroundings offers hundreds of kilometers of excellent mountain bike riding, including relaxing forest or valley
trails and technically and physically demanding alpine rides.

Horse riding - a horse ride along the river Mesta will take you on a wonderful trip through diverse environments including lush green
meadows, open pasture clearings, amazing rock formations and tall stands of century-old pine forests.

Rafting - the rivers Struma and Mesta offer to the fans of outdoor adventures a truly exciting and memorable adrenaline rush. Whether
you are looking for peaceful waters or thrilling torrents you will find them in the picturesque surroundings of the saddle between the Pirin
and the Rhodopi mountains or the Kresna Canyon.

Fishing - you can fish trout and carp in the crystal clear water from the northern part of Pirin Mountain from April to November
